We found local specialty KitKat in Kyoto.
They have two taste, one is Uji-matcha, another one is Hojicha taste.
At first we tried Matcha one.
The face of the box is this, Title and matcha picture.
Right side, “京都土産” means Kyoto souvenir, “こだわり宇治抹茶” means high quality Matcha made in Uji area.
Left side “伊藤久右衛門” means the shop name of famous tea shop “Itohkyuemon“. They supervise this KitKat.
Itohkyuemon started to make tea 200 years ago.
They have so long history and skill.
This KitKat probably taste great!
The back of the package is this.
At the lower left, it says “Information for international customer”,
but in Japanese “1日1回毎日当選のチャンス” means “They draw lots everyday! Let’s join”.
It’s different. lol

This is Itohkyuemon Matcha Kit Kat.
Let’s compare with general Matcha KitKat.
Little bit bright ? I don’t know. It’s difficult to distinguish.
Usually we eat KitKat separately like these.
Wafer is inside chocolate.
It’s so yummy!!
If I know this is Itohkyuemon Kitkat, I could feel it’s more bitter and flavor.
But if not, I could NOT find which is Itohkyuemon one.
